Jessica Lucas started 2013 on an unsettling note. In April 2010, after several months of appearing in Cult (which was released on the 19th of February in 2013), the show was cancelled. The CW aired all 13 episodes later on in the season. It's not an enjoyable feeling to appear in the most popular show to be abruptly cancelled. However, on the bright side, her career on the big screen appeared to be growing by leaps and bounds. In the film That Awkward Moment which was released in the beginning of 2014, Jessica Lucas played the attorney and wife of American actor Michael B. Jordan. It turns out that Jessica Lucas has had an affair with Michael B. Jordan. That clearly gives her an edge. Lucas is a prominent presence in the scenes she's in, as well as in a buddy film. The focus of the story is around the three lead characters. As mentioned earlier, she also owns her screen during the small amount of scenes that she was to play in Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. On the smaller screen she soon found herself working with Shenae Grimes, AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica Stroup in four episodes of the revamped 90210. The year 2009 saw her cast on the highly successful revival of the popular 1990s TV show Melrose Place as Riley Richmond an adorable elementary school teacher.
